Infection Prevention Consultant

We have partnered with Kathleen Kohut, an Infection Prevention Consultant with more than 25 years of experience in the field of infection prevention. Kathleen has evaluated all aspects of our Leadership Experiences and we have implemented additional health and safety measures to ensure a safe environment for our participants so that they can focus on learning.

Kathleen Kohut is an independent Infection Prevention Consultant living in Cotuit, MA.  Her clinical expertise includes maternal/child health and surgical services.  Kathleen began working with healthcare industry leaders 10 years ago assisting them with product launches, value analysis and scientific applications.

Kathleen is the author of many continuing education courses and articles related to infection prevention and the operating room.  She is the author of the “Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology” chapter for the 2014 revision of the APIC Text.  Kathleen has been an invited speaker at local, national and international APIC and AORN conferences.  She is certified in Infection Control and earned her MS from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing.

All Experience to Lead Event Managers have been certified by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) in cleaning and outbreak prevention.

Our Health and Safety Protocols

  • All on-site Experience Managers have been certified in the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) fundamentals with an emphasis on COVID-19 
  • All on-site Experience Managers have current certifications in CPR and First Aid
  • Hand sanitizer, gloves, multiple masks will be available throughout all of our programs
  • Minimized close social interaction
    • A new sound system with a wearable 2-way talk system to provide more space between people has been implemented
    • Smaller groups and more group learning will take place outdoors
  • Variety of options offered for meal locations and venue transportation
  • Verify compliance with the latest infectious disease guidelines for all facilities and locations visited, and reviewed by our Infection Prevention Consultant
    •  Partner health and safety guidelines will be provided for participants to reference and review
  • Additional optional precautions available, including:
    • Temperature scans available if you choose
    • Support with Hotel/Airport Travel coordination (Uber, rental vehicles, airport bus pickups)
