The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories “The Entrepreneur of the Year for Business & Professional Services category was the perfect fit for Dick and for all of us at Experience to Lead. We have experienced tremendous growth and success with top notch clients the past few years. I’m thrilled that Dick and the whole team have received this recognition.” stated Amanda Harmon, General Manager.

I’m so humbled and proud to receive this award, stated Dick Richardson, co-founder and owner of Experience to Lead, “It represents everyone’s accomplishments at Experience to Lead. People are more likely to remember new concepts if they can connect them to experiences. They remember moments—moments when they were moved, surprised, or jolted into a new way of thinking. At Experience to Lead we offer experiential learning programs that facilitate these powerful “moments that matter” and link them to practical, actionable leadership lessons. The Experiences created with our clients over the past year and this recognition is a result of each of our team members working together to make Experience to Lead, each other, and our clients better everyday.”

More than 200 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“The nominations submitted to The 2019 American Business Awards were outstanding.  They illustrate the continued vibrancy of innovation and high level of achievement across the American economic landscape,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. The judges’ comments for Dick Richardson and Experience to Lead included the following statements:

Love the idea and concept. Experience to Lead is changing lives through experiential learning. The ability to help leaders understand decision-making tactics and the ability to show teams how to lead through change.

The nominee’s ingenuity in the space is impressive. His leadership and vision seem to be a determining factor in the continued growth of the company. His commitment to philanthropic causes is laudable.

Great post! Helping managers become more effective leaders is an ongoing task. It sounds like you found a compelling training program that has attracted a lot of attention. If top companies are using your program to make their leadership team stronger and more effective than that says a lot about your company. Great job!
